BAG MINGE

"Bag Minge" is the perfect blend of party game classics; combining articulate with charades where a good memory for names gets you ahead

Played across 3 rounds, teams of players take it in turns to draw names at random from the bag and either describe, give a clue or act it out for the rest of their team to guess

Starting the game

One player (or "Bagmaster") creates a new game and sets up the parameters of the game (things like how many teams, how many names people enter, how long each turn goes on for). Once this is created, other players will be able to join the game and get going.

First off, each player in the game enters names (number to be decided by the Bagmaster in the setup) into the bag. These names can be celebrities, athletes, historical figures or even just your mates Mum. The only criteria is that the name has to be broadly recognisable to the other players

Once every player in the session has entered their names, the game begins and each player is randomly allocated to even teams

Each team will take it in turns to have one player draw names from the bag while the others try to guess it. Once a name is guessed, it is removed from the bag for that round and the players pulls the next name. The player can pass on a name ONCE per turn, though they can always come back to it later.

When the timer runs out, it's on to the next team to guess. The next player to draw from the bag will be shown at the top of the home screen and the start turn button will be available for them to start their turn

If there are no names left in the bag, the round ends but your time gets carried over to the next round

At the end of the 3rd round, the team with the most names guessed wins.

Optional: During the game setup, the bagmaster can enable a "Joker" round that each team can play once during the game before their turn starts. During this round, every name guessed counts for 2 points. If you run out of names during the round, your joker carries on for the remainder of your turn. Use it wisely.

Round 1

Articulate the name in as many words as you like without mentioning the name itself, "sounds like" or "rhymes with"

Round 2

Give a 1 word clue for the name; hint - the names are the same as in round 1 so use that for some inspiration. Once you've said your word, you're committed, no going back.

Round 3

Act out the name; good old fashioned charades. Remember, the names are still the same.

Once all of the names are guessed at the end of round 3, the scores are tallied and the winner announced.
